Imagine trolling the Marlin Boulevard, a world renowned game fishing zone. Never before has a multiday Sportfishing adventure been offered along this World Record setting Humboldt current.
The Humboldt current carries nutrient rich cold waters from Antarctica to Colombia on the Pacific Coast. This draws gamefish of all sorts to the feeding grounds.
A-listers like Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Humphrey Bogart, Joe DiMaggio and Ernest Hemingway flocked to the Marlin Boulevard in the hopes of landing the big one. But commercial fishing in the zone depleted the anchovies which were the sought after meals of the food chain. New laws have restricted the amount of catch of the base food for the marine life and the gamefish are returning.
Join us aboard the Southern Star for a 4 day 3 night Sportfishing extravaganza. We will be seeking the new champion Black Marlin.
Here, you can enjoy deep-sea fishing and will have the opportunity to hook Pacific sailfish, black and blue marlin, stripped marlin, swordfish, mahi-mahi (i.e. dolphinfish), and bigeye tuna among a few of the species found in the current.
